Qualifying Criteria

In order to qualify for all programs of Group Living, Inc., other than Medicaid Waiver, you must be between the ages of 18 and 21 with a diploma or certificate of completion, or age 21 or older with self help skills and possess one of the following developmental disabilities:  Intellectual Disability-Autism-Cerebral Palsy-Epilepsy.

Our Components

Adult Development Center          

The ADC provides instruction in a variety of daily living skills. The clients have opportunities to participate in music, arts, crafts and recreational activities such as exercise and field trips.

Beehive Store

The Beehive Store is a resale shop that provides training and employment for a number of clients in the Group Living program.  The resale items are donated by the citizens of Arkadelphia and surrounding areas.

Medicaid Waiver Services

Individuals receive an array of home and community-based services.  The program is intended to prevent unnecessary institutionalization and to assist individuals in obtaining a safe living arrangement in the least restrictive environment.

Lucas Gardens

Lucas Gardens opened in June of 2005.  A community building is available for the use of the residents of Lucas Gardens.

Residential

Individuals served receive support to help them live in their own homes or apartments.  The level of support received from the Group Living staff is based upon individual needs.  Types of support include but are not limited to: help with bill paying and money management, nutrition and meal planning, shopping, transportation, socialization, and community access.
